About WeldingClassroom.org
The Weldingclassroom.org website is developed and maintained by Gerald Austin. I am a welder, inspector, and welding instructor. I have been welding for 33 years as of 2012. That doesn't make me any better at this than anyone. Just shows that I love doing it.
Over the years I have had a desire to to develop online resources for learning about welding. However life has often gotten in the way and I am still in the outline stages. I have had a few websites such as weldinginspectionsvcs.com, weldingdata.com, learnaboutwelding.com/org, and weldingclassroom.org/com .
There are a great deal of resources that are already online. Most are free, but some are not. The content varies as does the level of learning activities available for the students. I hope to highlight many of the websites here with links and also links to some of my own which are under development. The one that I am working on that I hope to be the backbone of my online learning resources is course.weldingclassroom.org .
The course.weldingclassroom.org is online however is not yet fully fuctional as the content is very limited. Anyone who is interested in signing in and checking out the content is welcome.
